Married now for 34 years. three children, son in Macclesfield with two sons, daughter in Calgary with daughter and son, younger son in Reading, unmarried.
I worked for Met Office until retirement in 1997. First eight years overseas mainly Far and Middle East. Then moved to Research Flight also trails overseas. Next to Satellite Instruments Manager and liason with NASA, NOAA, ESA and ISRO around the world.
After retirement I have done some consultancy for Met Office and Matra Marconi but this is not easy to fit in with absences from the UK so I see it falling away now. Not much change since retirement, I'm still travelling only now my wife Rosemary is always with me.
